Three generations of customer care, combined with old fashioned standards and high quality workmanship, are paramount at E Dugdale Sons & Grandson of Cleveleys which is celebrating over 80 years in business.
The business was launched by Edward Dugdale, who came over from Manchester as a young man and opened his wireless repairs and electrical shop in Anchorsholme Lane East in 1939.
Edward’s son, Malcolm, left school at 15, attended technical college and qualified as an electrician. Malcolm’s brother Barry, who has recently retired, ran a TV repair business separately and Malcolm went on to expand the electrical plumbing and heating business. Today Malcolm has passed the reins of E Dugdale Sons & Grandson to his son Wayne, although as with any family business there is no such thing as retirement!
